The Fisherman, overlooking the Salthill Promenade, is fast becoming Galway’s most popular restaurant serving a contemporary menu of seafood, meat and vegetarian dishes.
Owned and operated by Patrick O’ Malley and his wife Lisa Creaven, the O’ Malley family come from a long family line of Galway Fishermen and operate the city’s leading chain of fishmongers, also named The Fisherman. All the seafood dishes at the restaurant are prepared fresh each day from produce caught directly from the boats at Rossaveal. The lean cuts of meat, vegetables, breads and wholesome ingredients are also sourced from local suppliers, ensuring a real taste of the West at The Fisherman.
Boasting a floor length glass front, diners can enjoy stunning views of Galway Bay. You can also watch the culinary team at work in the open kitchen, and enjoy a tipple of choice from the fully stocked bar as your meal is being prepared. The draped sails from the ceilings, funky decor and spacious seating creates a really relaxed dining experience.
Opened Monday to Sunday from 9am until 10pm, The Fisherman serves a delicious breakfast, lunch and dinner menu, and is the perfect setting to catch up with family or friends. For bookings or further details visit www.fisherman.ie, call (091) 527 100 or like ‘Fisherman’ on Facebook.
