The boat is a luxury, German built, Hanse 531. It is a 53 foot yacht, with a capacity of 16 people, finished to a very high standard. This design has a large deck with plenty of seating and a spacious salon below. Eight overnight passengers can be accommodated in four double berths, each with its own bathroom and shower. The skippers cabin is separate with access from the forward deck.
Half Day Cruise from Rossaveal Marina: Board the yacht, Atlantic Blue, at Rossaveal Marina at 13.00. Meet and greet fellow passengers while enjoying some light refreshments. Time from start to finish is approx 5 hours of which 4 are sailing. Cost €80 per person.
Sailing Cruise to Aran with an overnight stay: Board the yacht, Atlantic Blu, at Tossaveal Marina at 13.00. Meet and greet fellow passengers while enjoying some light refreshments. Complete the 11 nautical miles to Inismore, the largest of the Aran Islands. Spend the late afternoon and evening exploring the island, including possibly a visit to Dun Aongus. Dine at one of the fine eating places on the island. Visit one of the pubs and return to the harbour to sleep aboard the yacht. Eat a continental breakfast aboard before setting sail again. Planned arrival back by 13.00, Cost €120 pp sharing.
Cityscape cruise: Leave from Galway docks and motor out into Galway Bay with views of the city centre and the old Claddagh fishing village behind, sail past Mutton Island and head out into the Bay. Take in views of Salthill, Silverstrand, Bearna and Furbo. Get a unique shots of the Burren from only a few miles offshore before turning to head back to the docks for a memorable trip. Cost €50 per person.
