Elements Kitesurfing operates kitesurfing schools in Ireland. The Galway one is at Silverstrand in Galway City. All of our instructors have qualifications recognised by the International Kitesurfing Organisation. Elements Kitesurfing boasts a 100% safety record.

Taster Session:The first part of the session will give you the opportunity to fly small land-based power kites. You’ll learn how to control a kite safely, how to launch and land it and how to get the power out of it! Then we’ll take to the water. We’ll build on your kite skills to teach you how to fly a larger kite safely and how to re-launch it from the sea. You’ll use the power of the kite to drag you through the water. This is loads of fun and you’ll have the freedom to go solo, with our instructors following you. Once you’re ready we’ll give you a chance to attempt getting up on the board. We’re not saying it’s easy and if you want to go for it you’ll either manage a short run or a have a comical wipeout in the sea - all part of the fun!
